The Beltring War & Peace Show continues to be THE place to be for the Military Vehicle enthusiast and 2010 was no exception.

   
   

The stars of the show were these 4!! fully restored M26 'Dragon Wagon' Tank Transporters; a very impressive sight indeed!!!!

   

As usual, the 2nd Armored Group kicked up some dust with a line up of M8 Armored Cars

   

Nice paintwork: German Camouflage (left) and very realistic white over blue-drab markings on a Jeep hood (right)

   

Two non WW2 entries: Pierce Arrow Great War Truck and a 1950s US Army Raven Helicopter, which won 1st Prize!

2010 saw the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain, which was remembered by a Hurricane on static display
and a fly-over by the BBMF's Lancaster



This British Morris-Commercial in desert camouflage was one of the nicest vehicles on display at the show.....

 

 

The 66th D-Day Commemorations in Normandy in June 2010 saw a lot less vehicles than the previous year. Still a couple of nice ones turned up....
